Industrial Cladding Contractor

Sheeting and cladding can come in many different forms and with each site having specific needs it is important that the right system is picked for each specific project and each individual client. As AB Roofing Solutions are specialists in most sheeting and cladding systems we are happy to work alongside all clients to ensure that the most suitable and cost-effective systems are identified for each individual project. We don’t believe that “one size fits all” and it is important that all site-specific circumstances are taken into consideration when specifications are written.

Below are some of the many systems that we provide:

Roof and Wall Cladding
Double skin- Roof Cladding (traditional cladding system)

Perfect particularly for new build construction this is a roof cladding system that is site assembled twin skin metal roof sheet with a mineral wool insulation. The system consists of an internal metal liner, an insulating layer and an outer face. With hundreds of profile options available for the outer face each client can tailor the appearance of the building at the design stage. Rooflights can also be incorporated to maximise the natural light to within the premises.

Roof and Wall Cladding
Composite Roof Cladding

Composite roofing is exactly how it sounds, a pre-made all-encompassing panel designed to simplify the speed of roof installation. Composite roof panels offer the benefit of a quick and efficient installation to minimise any disruption to the premises being installed on. Providing consistent insulation throughout the roof area a composite panel can be used in either a new roof situation or a refurbishment overclad. With a wide range of thickness’ and profiles available the finish can be tailored to suit each client’s preference. Rooflights can also be incorporated to maximise the natural light to within the premises.

Roof and Wall Cladding
Overcladding

This is sometimes a far less intrusive alternative to a full strip and re-roof. Overcladding of an asbestos roof is often a more cost-effective roof refurbishment process that will minimise any disruption at site while greatly improving the lifespan of the premises. An overclad is possible where the existing roof structure is in sufficient condition to carry the new system. It involves installing a new profiled metal sheet over the top of the existing roof area with insulation and a support bars installed between. This in turn can enhance the thermal performance of the existing building as well as aesthetically improving the look of your premises to any passing trade. With hundreds of profile options available for the outer face each client can tailor the appearance of the building at the design stage.
The over-cladding process reduces the project value by removing disposal costs of the existing asbestos roof sheeting that would need to be sent to licensed landfill. The internal rooflights can be renewed within the roofing scheme to compliment the new external rooflights and maximise any natural daylight inside the building. Many existing asbestos roofs currently have troublesome Georgian wire skylights or northlights which can also be removed as part of an overclad system.

The systems mentioned above can all include gutter refurbishment or replacement if required.
Step safe rooflights or man-safe systems are also often considered to enable safer future maintenance of each site.
